Peter G. Combos His many clients and friends affectionately know Coach Peter as Uncle Pete. Peter was born on
the sunny island of Cyprus during troubled times. In Australia during the 60’s Peter noticed the cultural contrasts that coloured those days. It was during these times that he took a very serious interest in the field of Personal Development; a field that he pursues with voracious passion to this very day. In his fifty years Peter has lived a colourful life, he can be characterised as a survivor. Among other things, he was married and had four children. Survived life threatening cancer. Lived through the terrorist bombing of the SS Arion, which led to him being a guest of the Israeli government for five days. Survived a harrowing divorce in Sydney. Moved to Canberra to be married to the most wonderful woman in the world. Established Life Coaching That Works. His aim is to provide a quality coaching service to business executives and every other person that is interested in improving their quality of life and consistently perform at their best. A working career that began as an office boy saw him rise to Divisional Chief Accountant for an Australian multi-national company. Throughout his life, both on and off work, Peter has shown non-judgemental empathy and compassion towards his fellow-man. This attitude has evolved him into the finely tuned Life Coach that he is today. Peter has a natural talent for active listening and has always applied his skills towards helping others without judgement or prejudice. This practice is one of the fundamental elements of his Life Coaching. Following his move to the ACT Peter made the conscious decision to focus his efforts on full time Life Coaching. Peter’s many
talents and well rounded life experience has more than amply equipped
him with Life Coaching skills. In addition, he attended formal coaching
studies in Sydney with Coach U Australia and NZ in 2003. Peter is a seasoned speaker and presenter. He has spoken on many topics and led workshops on life coaching in NSW and the ACT. His ability to deliver a serious subject in a fun yet memorable way has made Uncle Pete a sought after speaker. Peter has been a member of the International Coach Federation since 2003 and is listed on their Coach Referral service. More recently Peter joined the European Coaching Institute and the Australian Life Coaching Society.
